Most large businesses are paying double for their connectivity. They have the mandate to have connections from two different ISPs (Internet Services Providers) to ensure their businesses never have downtime.
We have created a service for companies to get the benefit of a premier dedicated connection (DIA or Layer 2) at half the price provided the connection is set up as a secondary connection as per the conditions below.

How the Jenny Secondary Connection Works:
- The connection will be set up to be the Passive connection in an Active/Passive setup.
- The cost will be 50% of the original connection price provided the connection is used for less than ten days in a month.
- Daily usage is defined as follows
- Used Day = More than 20 MB per day.
- Unused Day = Less than 20 MB per day.
- If there are more than 10 days of usage the full price will be charged. This is double the Secondary Connection price.
- A monthly usage report will be provided.

Here are the most frequently asked questions about Secondary Connection.
If you have any additional questions don't hesitate to speak to us.
Here is an example for the month of February 2023. The secondary connection price will be billed on the 1st of February 2023. E.g 10Mbps/10Mbps K 2999 excl VAT. If the service was used for less than 10 days there will not be another invoice.
If the service was used for more than 10 days a second K 2999 excl VAT will be billed on 1 of March 2023 for the month of February 2023.
You will receive a PDF report with your invoice. This report will have daily usage as well as a counter showing the number of days where more than 20MB’s were used.
